The New England Patriots have released two players to create a little more cap space to accomodate the franchise tag salary of $14.65 M for Matt Cassell.
Wide receiver and special teams ace Kelley Washington, along with offensive lineman Billy Yates were the victims of this cap cut. saving the team close to $2 Million.
