The man made famous for "Pulling an Orlovsky", has decided he will test free agency. Lions QB Dan Orlovsky was given the dubious catch phrase when he ran out of the back of the end zone while trying to escape pressure from Minnesota's Jared Allen resulting in a safety.
Now the QB who is unaware of where the back of the end zone is is certain that he will get a better offer from another team than the offer he recieve to be the back-up for the Vikings.
"They made an offer, but I'm going to test the market and see what's out there for me," Orlovsky said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "I'm pretty confident that I'm going to get a better offer."
According to many draft experts the Lions are interested in drafting standout Georgia QB Matt Stafford with the #1 overall pick in this years draft. I think it would be wise for Orlovsky to sign the Lions offer and collect whatever guaranteed money they are giving him before they add another QB to the roster and Orlovsky finds himself watching football from his home like the rest of us.
