The Denver Broncos have signed DT Darrell Reid to a three-year $6.8 million contract.
Reid is the NFL-high sixth free agent to sign with Denver. The 6-foot-2, 288-pound Reid was a backup defensive lineman with the Colts during his first four NFL seasons. He also contributed on special teams and as a short-yardage fullback.
Reid was arrested on disorderly conduct and trespassing charges for allegedly refusing to leave the parking lot of an Indianapolis nightclub. The charges were later dropped.
