After a season of Brian Dawkins publicly saying he wanted to return to Philly, and at a reduced rate when he admitted that his 'big contract' days were behind him. Well it took less than 24 hours on the free agent market to change Brian Dawkins mind.
Dawkins has signed with the Denver Broncos after spending his entire career in Philadelphia, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 13-year veteran will obviously bring a veteran presence to the Broncos defense but he will also bring a willing tackler in the run game and a safety who can get to the QB, evidenced by his 34 career sacks.
