The gloves worn by Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes when he caught the game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl XLIII have grabbed $70,200 for charity.
Holmes auctioned the Reebok gloves for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America Inc. Holmes' 6-year-old son, Santonio III, has the blood disease.
Bidding for the gloves nearly doubled in the final hour of the auction, which ended Sunday night. A total of 163 bids were placed
