Troubled cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was officially released from the Dallas Cowboys roster today, although he was informed of the teams decision after the regular season.
The release of Jones saves the Cowboys $1 Million on the salary cap and none of his 4-year contract was guaranteed.
Last month, Pacman Jones appeared in a TV interview saying that even though his release was imminent, he felt he would be re-signed by the team before the start of the season. But Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones has no plans to bring Pacman Jones back to Dallas.
