Planners in Pittsburgh are building a new amphitheater near Heinz field and it will include a one-block street to be named Chuck Noll Way. Chuck Noll the former Steelers head coach brought the team its first four super bowl trophies.
City officials say they've received no formal request to name the proposed street. City Council must approve any such request. Getting such a request granted should not be to difficult as many streets near both Heinz field and PNC Park, are named after Pittsburgh Sports heroes including, Pirates Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski, Pitt football star Tony Dorsett, and late Steelers owner Art Rooney Sr.
