As expected, following a league record 0-16 season, The Detroit Lions have began to purge out their roster. As reported last week Mike Furrey and Leigh Bodden had already been informed of the teams decision
Joining them on the unemployment line are; guard Ed Mulitalo, safety Dwight Smith, tackle Jon Dunn and tight end Dan Campbell. The Lions are trying to free salary cap space as they rebuild the team for coach Jim Schwartz
