According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network the Lions will in fact be keeping some of their players from 2008.
The Lions reached an agreement Monday with free-agent-to-be guard Stephen Peterman on a five-year, $15 million contract that included $5.5 million in guaranteed money. Last season was Peterman’s first full year as a designated starter, though he has 29 career starts. He sat out most of his first two seasons with knee injuries.
