Amani Toomer Criticizes the Giants, says Career There is Over

Toomer, a 34-year-old free agent receiver, is upset with the way the Giants kept his play to a minimum late in the season, especially considering his limited playing time following Plaxico Burress' suspension, the New York Daily News reports.

"I just think the last couple of games I wasn't really a part of the offense," he said. "We lost a big percentage of those games. You can't tell me I didn't play a big role in that. ... In the current situation I don't think I could go back."

Toomer, who has played his entire 13-year pro career with the Giants, started in 12 games in 2008, finishing with 48 receptions for 580 yards and four touchdowns.
