Plenty of Options for Chiefs
When the Chiefs fired head coach Herm Edwards on Friday Jan. 23rd it was immediately speculated that former Bronco head honcho Mike Shanahan would become the Chiefs head coach, and it made sense. Shanahan is an experienced coach to help develop young talent on a rebuilding team, and he would get to face his former employers twice per season. But before the Chiefs make any rushed decision they should weigh their options and there are many. Coaches like Todd Haley, Paul Pasqualoni, Kirk Ferentz, Bill Parcells, Jon Gruden, Bill Cowher, Jason Garrett and Chan Gailey are all possibilities for the Chiefs and each would bring something to the table.
