Frank Boal of Fox4 in Kansas City is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have rejected the Falcons trade offer for pro bowl TE Tony Gonzalez. The offer was a seconf round pick (no. 55 overall).
The Chiefs are apperently years away from being a contender and Gonzalez wants to play for a competitive squad, he has apperently already cleaned out his locker. Gonzalez is doing everything he can to get out of town but the Chiefs are struggling to let him slip away.
If the GM Scott Pioli values Gonzalez more than the Falcons' second round pick then it's unlikely any team in the NFL will match his price.
