The Green Bay Packers have traded long snapper J.J. Jansen to the Carolina Panthers for a future conditional draft pick.
The trade was announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Jansen, who signed with Green Bay as a undrafted free agent in May 2008, spent last season on injured reserve. He played his college ball at Notre Dame.
