The Kansas City Chiefs have released WR Will Franklin, ending his dream of starring in the same state where he starred in college, at Missouri.
The Chiefs picked Franklin in the fourth round of last year’s draft. He played in 13 games and even made one start in a late season game against San Diego. But Franklin caught just seven passes for 83 yards.
