The Tenessee Titans have added two new players to replace the ones they have lost through free agency, WR Nate Washington and DT Jovan Haye will join the Titans.
Washington, a backup receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers the past four seasons, signed a six-year, $27 million contract with Tennessee on Monday, according to reports. Haye, formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reportedly received a four-year, $16.2 million deal.
Haye, who played collegiately at Vanderbilt returns to Tenessee to prove that he can regain his 2007 form after a slow 2008.
“We’re off to a good start,” Coach Jeff Fisher said. “There’s still some work to be done.”
