Saints Sign Spicer



The New Orleans Saints have announced the signing of veteran defensive end Paul Spicer to a one-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Spicer, 33, started his career in Detroit, but has spent the last 9 years with the Jaguars. He is following his defensive coordinator Gregg Williams from Jacksonville to New Orleans.
According to NFL.com the 10 year veteran has notched 252 career tackles along with 28.5 sacks (21.5 sacks coming in the last 4 seasons) and 1 interception.
