The Denver Broncos may be attempting to field two teams next season as they continue to sign free agent after free agent.
Their newest aquisition, 49ers free agent Ronald Fields agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract, according to a league source.
The 6-foot-2, 315-pound defensive lineman was credited with 19 tackles in 16 games.
In four NFL seasons, the former Mississippi State player has registered 75 tackles and one sack.
